Small compound that carries so much serenity in its space. Ample seatings available. Beautiful quaint cafe to enjoy aromatic and house blend coffees. I had their almond coconut flower latte. It was fragrant and has an interesting note of sweetness.

The ambiance of this Cafe is impeccable! simply unlike any other shops in Kuching. The unique blend of coffee beans are undoubtedly the best representation of coffee pefection. If you want to experience a truely authentic taste of the best local coffee... this is the place. I'd highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place with great coffee made with fresh beans.

I found this coffee shop by chance. The air inside the shop is shady. The shop is decorated in a unique style. It is a very good shop located in the old street of Kuching. Wow! Very good coffee. The taste of coffee is unique. The shop is full of the smell of coffee. I will definitely come back again.

What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon Sarawak coffee here. Wanted to try the espresso, avocado milk shake but somehow their avocado is not available. So I've tried the espresso banana milk shake instead, not too bad as I was really hoping to try the avocado version. A few nice seating area with lots of plants. It's lovely!

Coffee connoisseurs at beautiful Carpenter Street We passed by Yia Coffee, smelled the lovely beans, and I immediately had to sit in and experience the vibes. Loved it. This newly married couple (Yia & husband) decided to pursue their dreams of a cafe as they LOVE coffee. I can’t be happier for them - huat huat for this venture . In the pictures, you can see Yia personally preparing the drinks as the barista. The drinks served are worth it. We had the dragon fruit shake - filled and thick with ripe juicy dragon fruit. We loved it so much that we ordered another Avocado shake - also good. And of course, the coffee was great. They have various other coffee beans too! I would certainly recommend giving this place a try.

Along the bustling Ewe Hai Street in the heart of riverside Kuching is a calm, mildly lit, open-fronted yet muted space that the Yia Company and its warm-spoken tenders retail its proudly Sarawakian beans and serve its exceptional brews and pour-overs. Within this juxtapositious oasis lies a surprising array of seating for a decidedly cosy enclosure, though not surprising in the least is the taste and choice of subtle aesthetic that this space is materialised. Me personally, I make it a point to secure a secluded hour or two at Yia's on its quieter mornings, wherein only the radio jazz and masters' brewery is audible atop the faint whirring of Ewe Hai and the town markets beyond. It contemporarily mirrors the quan ca phe of Vietnam, the cha chaan teng of Hong Kong, or the kissaten of Japan, and of course the local kopitiam, while without the overpresence of a demographic lean or an aesthetic gimmick that so many others are at fault for. Frightfully few of such places exist in Malaysia, and Kuching no doubt ought to treasure the Yia it has.
